We have three bedrooms, each with a "colour" theme. Our rooms have recently
been refurbished to a very high standard and are decorated with designer
fabrics and high quality bed coverings; all of which adds to the relaxed, cosy,
yet stylish atmosphere of Westlands. Bedrooms are equipped with television /
DVD, tea and coffee-making facilities and a hair dryer. In addition our
spacious lounge and dining room provide the perfect place to relax after a busy
day exploring Buxton and the surrounding Peak District.
On entering the accommodation, the refurbishment retains the period character
of this lovely Edwardian house.
The spacious guest lounge is comfortably furnished with quality furniture
and antiques, along with widescreen digital television. The cast iron stove
adds to the cosy atmosphere; sit and relax or browse through the selection of
guide books, maps and local magazines to plan your days exploring the peak
district. On a winter's evening, enjoy a tray of coffee and play a board game
from the quality selection provided. Also provided, for your convenience, is a
range of menus from local pubs and restaurants.
Our tastefully furnished breakfast room overlooks our rear garden and the
Derbyshire hills; enjoy a relaxing breakfast watching the wide variety of
wildlife in the garden. The Edwardian room has been tastefully furnished to a
high standard with quality furnishings and antiques. Sit back, relax and enjoy
a leisurely breakfast made from quality ingredients sourced from our local
family butcher.
All bedrooms are fully en-suite with bath and shower, quality towels and a range of complimentary toiletries adding to your comfort and convenience. Our twin room overlooking the rear garden is tastefully furnished with Laura Ashley fabrics. Our third bedroom also overlooks the rear garden and has a large bathroom.
The entrance hall, stairs and landing are also furnished to a high standard and are decorated to complement the rest of Westlands House.
We have ample off-road parking facilities within our own grounds. Westlands
is on a quiet lane just off the A53 and access is simple and safe. A gentle
walk of 20 minutes or less will take you down to Buxton town centre with its
wide selection of restaurants, pubs and cafes, plus the Pavilion and Gardens,
the Opera House and all the other attractions.

Our first bedroom is at the front of the house and has a king size brass bed. The cast iron bed, cotton bedding and quality fabrics add to your comfort and T.V./D.V.D. player, tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryer are installed for your convenience.

This twin bedded room has views over the rear garden and towards the hills behind the Cavendish Golf Course. Again, it has cotton bedding and quality fabrics for your comfort and T.V./D.V.D. player, tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryer for your convenience.

This double room with similar views over the rear garden, is slightly smaller than the other two bedrooms, but has a large bathroom with bath/shower. It has cotton bedding and quality fabrics for your comfort and T.V./D.V.D. player, tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryer for your convenience
